My story at LEONI
Hey, my name is Martyna Leśniak, and I work as a Harness Designer in the Product Development team. I prepare drawings for valuation in the RFQ phase.
I applied for this position based on a friend's recommendation. I really appreciated the way the interview was conducted. As a result of that conversation, I was offered the job, which I am very happy about because LEONI has provided me with many opportunities for development over these past few months. These include gaining knowledge about the entire electrical system existing in motor vehicles, improving my language skills, and making many acquaintances with colleagues. Additionally, I would like to mention that the option for remote work is also a great convenience.
My job
Start of the day
My typical day at work starts around 7:30 a.m., when I arrive at the office. I really appreciate the possibility of flexible working hours offered by LEONI because it allows me to calmly prepare for work in the morning and get to work without unnecessary haste. First thing in the morning, I try to plan the tasks assigned to me so that my work is as effective as possible. Throughout the day, I perform various activities such as creating drawings and generating reports.
Lunch break
During the day, I also take advantage of my assigned breakfast break, during which I prepare a meal in the spacious and well-equipped kitchenette provided by the company. A break during the working day in my opinion is necessary, because it allows you to take a momentary break from the computer screen, thus not overworking your body and continuing to work effectively at a later stage.
End of Day
I finish my working day around 4 p.m. At that point, it's time to clean my workstation and head home.
My view of LEONI as an employer
What I value most about LEONI is the atmosphere between employees, which is an extremely important aspect of this work. It would be difficult to achieve the set goals without good relations between employees.

My tips
To a person starting out at LEONI, I would give a quick piece of advice: boldly ask questions and take notes, as this is very helpful when doing the job.
