My story at LEONI
My adventure with LEONI started right after graduating from high school, becoming my first job. It was very important to me to reconcile my studies with my professional life. We did it! My first steps were towards an internship, where I supported the Customer Service team. I helped my colleagues with basic tasks, such as entering orders into the system or handling correspondence in the absence of other specialists. These were the beginnings that brought me valuable professional experience that I really cared about. After less than two months, I got a chance to develop; I received the title of junior customer service specialist. It was here that the first doubts arose – would I be able to do it? Will I be able to cope? Fortunately, I was surrounded by the extraordinary support of the entire team, which perfectly prepared me for my new role. After about a year of work, I was promoted to the position of Specialist. I am very grateful for this opportunity and trust.
My job
Start of the day:
I start my day at work around 7:00 a.m., check my email inbox, and answer the most urgent questions from customers. After researching new topics, I can afford a moment of pleasure - a coffee with the team. It is an important element of the day for me, a form of integration during which we can talk about any topic, give each other advice, and share valuable tips. Returning to my duties, I check the status of shipments to customers and inform them of any changes in delivery dates. Then I take care of the current email correspondence, enter orders, handle complaints, and maintain good relations with buyers. My duties also include monitoring the status of receivables. These are demanding tasks, but the satisfaction of achieving the set goal rewards all the effort put in. What I like about my job is the fact that every day is different, full of new challenges, contact with different people, and the opportunity to get to know cultures that are new to me. You definitely can't get bored here.
Morning:
Every day around 9:00 a.m., I participate in a departmental meeting where we discuss current issues and share tips for problem-solving. I frequently liaise with other departments to ensure that clients receive all the necessary information.
Lunch break:
At noon, the entire department goes out for lunch together. For us, this is another form of team integration. When we return, everyone resumes their tasks, but we can always rely on each other's support. We frequently have the opportunity to participate in various training sessions that enhance our work.
End of the day:
I usually wrap up my day at work around 3:00 p.m., ensuring that any urgent matters are addressed before I leave, providing reassurance to customers. On average, I have the opportunity to work remotely (from home) twice a week, which is very convenient for me and improves my work efficiency. I find it much easier to concentrate on my tasks at home.
My highlights
My most memorable day at LEONI was when I took over my first client. I felt a sense of responsibility for their satisfaction and was determined to provide the best possible service. Building a good relationship with this demanding client took time, but now I'm proud to say that we work together seamlessly. I have developed a deep empathy and connection with them, and despite my specific work system, I wouldn't entrust them to anyone else.
My view of LEONI as an employer
IAt LEONI, I highly value flexible working hours and the option to work remotely. This flexibility greatly assists me in balancing my studies with my professional career. Despite my numerous responsibilities, work provides me with enough freedom and space for personal development. While there are occasional exceptional situations that demand our immediate attention, the satisfaction of effectively resolving issues outweighs the time commitment. Interpersonal relationships hold great importance to me here. I've never encountered such a close-knit and supportive team before. We can always rely on one another for assistance.
The atmosphere in my department, as well as the entire company, is extremely familial. Everyone is polite and helpful towards each other. I'll never forget the immense support I received from my colleagues when I first started at LEONI. Despite their own workload, nobody hesitated to lend a hand. I know I can rely on these individuals both professionally and personally, and I am extremely grateful to them for that
LEONI in 3 words? Flexibility, Growth, Balance.
