Internship
We invest in young people who would like to test their talents, qualifications, and skills working in an industrial company, as well as gain their first job experience in an international company.
We offer an internship program for students and university graduates which aims at conveying technical and practical knowledge about everyday functioning of a big industrial company. The interns will learn modern ERP class IT tools and acquire basic knowledge of Kaizen management system. They also learn how the Quality Management System ISO/TS 16949 and the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 work. They learn how to work in a group of experienced specialists. Internships are held in various divisions so that the young adepts can acquire as much knowledge as possible from experts. The internship can be a first step to first employment.
I am a fifth-year student on Management & Production Engineering at University of Economics in Wroclaw. Before graduating I wanted to gain experience, and I thought about LEONI! I applied to the company at the end of 2014 years. First steps I made in Human Resources Department, later, I get into the Production Department and here I am now. Currently I took part in three-month internship in cooperation with Kuźnia Kadr. Internship gives me satisfaction, because I have the ability to be on the shop floor and watch the operators during production, meeting the technological process, as well as carry out analysis and reports. Multitasking and work dynamics make that every day is different.
I began my work as a Quality Engineer in February 2014, but I have already had the opportunity to work for LEONI as part of an internship, in cooperation with the Kuźnia Kadr – the project of the University of Economics. The tasks of a Quality Engineer include, among others: providing high quality products, conducting trainings for employees, and also carrying out audits or releasing the machinery for prototype production. Thanks to numerous trainings I have the opportunity to constantly improve qualifications, which is very important for such a young employee. I am glad I can do what I like in such a close-knit team.
We cooperate with universities in the region: University of Economics, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, The International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław, as well as with high schools. We take part in the most important career fairs for high school and university students and graduates.
